AMSTERDAM - Canal Catwalk, the first floating fashion show on the Amsterdam canals, takes place on May 21 (Dutch Fashion Day). Canal Catwalk, with the show of Sepehr Maghsoudi & Otazu, is an official event during Dutch Fashion Day. More information about the Canal Catwalk will be available soon.

The World Heritage Committee has decided to submit the 17th century canal ring area in Amsterdam to the UNESCO World Heritage List. According to UNESCO, the canals are cultural heritage of “outstanding universal value”.

AMSTERDAM - Op 21 mei is het Dutch Fashion Day, de feestdag voor de Nederlandse mode. Sepehr Maghsoudi en het juwelenmerk Otazu geven, tijdens de unieke Canal Catwalk op de grachten van Amsterdam, een show. Ook wordt het jubileum gevierd van de Dutch Model Awards en de Dutch Designer of the Year.

Sinds 2008 worden de titel Dutch Designer of the Year toegekend en worden jaarlijks de Dutch Model Awards uitgereikt. De koninklijk onderscheiden uitgever Phia Baruch is beschermvrouwe van de Dutch Fashion Day.
